"Poor little Guy. He was so lonely. His mother died when he was little, and then his father, leaving him with a cross stepmother. He longed so for a real mother. . . One day he came upon a small white dog that had been hurt. He cared for it until it was nearly well. Through the little white dog Guy found a real home and a real father and mother to love him. Their love for him did not go unrewarded for Guy was the means of saving his foster father's life. If you like stories of fishing and dogs and searching for treasure you will enjoy this book."
