234 pp. Saalfield Every Child's Library #3001. Front board detached at pastedown, but still attached at rear pastedown, corners a bit bumped. Text browned with 3/8" bookworm hole (I'm not kidding) affecting pp.16-56. One page dogearred. DJ in protective Brodart plastic wrap. DJ has scuff mark on front, small chips at spine and flap ends, some edgewear, PO name on front flap. Florence Williams' full-page black and white illustrations and chapter head silhouettes make this a charming early reprint of this beloved 1877 classic.
