In the little village in India, Maya, Lalu's little sister, is going blind, and if she does so, she'll lose her spot in the school and will never learn to read. And if she doesn't, she won't be able to teach her brother. Hearing that a friend's uncle was cured of blindness in Agra, Lalu decides to walk the long and dangerous distance to Agra with his sister to get the doctors to cure her. This is the story of their journey and the adventures along the way. Evocative black and white illustrations by gifted illustrator Ulf Aas.
