viii + 312 pp, index, appendix, bibliography, 2 maps, 23 b/w photos. Spine slanted, corners bumped, a little edge wear and some rubbing. No internal markings. Jacket shows some soiling, edge wear, and chipping, two large chunks are missing, about 1" wide extending from the bottom of the jacket, where it meets the front and back flaps, about 2/3 of the way up the jacket -- this could be insect damage.
