Otherwise spine is sunned and has an "A" in black marker at the top. A fair amount of edge wear, along with scuffing and scratches to boards, gift inscrip across from half title. Text block is bright and clean.
This ireprint was published about 1970 or 1971. Back cover lists to "Coughing Dragon" (1970); blue graveyard endpapers; Robert Arthur listed as author and Harry Kane as illustrator; matte cover finish with yellow spine, gift inscrip. This copy is a trade paperback that was rebound by the school library with sturdy hardback boards. It has the usual library markings, some wear and chipping to the boards but the original cover (laminated on the boards) is in quite good condition. Pages tanned but the text is unmarked. A nice reading copy. Sinister Scarecrow is number 29 in the Three Investigators series.
